It's Sunday morning, you're hungry but don't feel like cooking, what do you do? BRUNCH! It's definitely something I'll always be up for as long as i have teeth. And when I don't, well I'm sure there has to be a soup brunch somewhere, right?
If you need a place for something a bit more special.
Senats-Stuben is a very nice old-style restaurant in the heart of Bremen across from the river Weser, which offers typical north German food throughout the day.
You'll be welcomed by a friendly hostess, who will direct you to your reserved table (reservation is a must as it gets really busy) through a sea of twinkling candles, dim lamps, flowers, wooden tables, and chairs ready to be occupied. All very idyllic, perfectly romantic!
The tables perfectly decorated for the festive occasion invite you to enjoy yourself. And no matter where you sit, you're never too far away from the unbelievably appetizing food, which you'll find spread across the center of the room filling the most delicious pots, pans, plates, and trays.
Did I mention that it is a buffet all-you-can-eat Brunch? They offer a full on German breakfast, which means all sorts of buns, sliced meats and fish, cheese and butter. But also other warm season dishes, sausages, bacon, and eggs, as well as a full cereal and fruit bar with croissants.
Besides the wonderful offer on food, all drinks, including coffee, hot chocolate, tea, orange and appel juices as well as prosecco, are included in the price, tho some have to be pre-arranged when booking (hot chocolate).
The variety was incredible, the food was delicious, and soon we were full and merry. Sekt (prosecco) for breakfast was something I had never tried so, another check off my list of to-do things.
Brunch opens at 9:30 AM (a bit too early for a Sunday Brunch) and it only lasts until 12. Other than that, worth the price and to take a look at the decor, simply lovely.
You can find Senats-Stuben in Tiefer 8, 28195 Bremen (Mitte)
Price of the buffet brunch: 13,90 €/pp
