Cream Cheese and Bacon Rolls

With the final of the World Cup rapidly approaching (sadly Spain left already, lucky I still got Germany to cheer on! Go 'Schland!) a lot of people get together to watch the games and of course some snacks are required. So, looking through Pinterest for inspiration, something quick and awesome to do, I ran into these Cream Cheese Jalapeño Crescent Rolls which gave me the idea of cream cheese and bacon rolls, I have to say they were a hit and it only takes about 20 minutes to make them.

For about 32 little snacks you'll need:

So, you know what is coming now, don't you? YES! Pre-heat the oven as always (200ºC). In a bowl mix 3/4 of the cream cheese, the pinch of sugar, and the bacon.

Roll the pastry in a flat surface, cut into two rectangles, and with a rolling pin stretch one of them to fill the surface and make it a bit thinner.

With a spoon spread half of the mixture in the rectangle, and then roll it, like this:

Cut it into 16 slices and plant them in a baking tray. Bake them for about 13 minutes and proceed equally with the second rectangle.

Aren't these just lovely!? What are you waiting for? Go make some of your own ;)

Tip: Other fillings can be used for these. A good alternative would be tomato sauce with oregano and salami in little pieces, it's give you a delicious pizza roll.
