Huevos rellenos (Stuffed eggs) aren't only very delicious, and nutritious tapas style food but also very fast and super simple to make, and did I mention versatile? well yeah, they can cater to all tastes.
My favourite version of this tapas has always (or at least for as far as I can remember) been with tuna, but you can do it with any other fish, veggie, or meat product you wish. And you can make as many as you want and stuff them as much (or as little) as you wish.
You'll need eggs, tomato sauce, tuna, olives, and mayo (optional)
The first step will have to be to hard boil the eggs, no alternative version sorry.
Once ready, cool them down, peel them, and open them up in the middle.
Save the egg yolks, and leave the whites on the side for now.
In the mixer bowl put the yolks, the tuna, and the tomato sauce (to taste), and mix.
When all well mixed up, with a teaspoon fill the egg whites with the paste, decorate with a pinch of mayo if you so desire and an olive on top and you're ready to serve! Nom Nom!
We decided to make a mozzarella and tomato salad with ours to make it truly tapas-like. What would you eat with yours??
