Hungary and Slovakia were impressive but it was finally time for some Austria.
The bus arrived back in Vienna when it was already dark.
The snow was slowly falling on us, first snow since we arrived.
It was beautiful, yet chaotic.
It'd all be gone by morning and the sun would shyly come out from time to time.
The Museums Quartier, a short walk away from our hostel (Wombat's The Lounge), was looking radiant.
History no matter where you look at. Vienna is an impressive city.
One thing's for sure, these guys love their horses! They're everywhere!
And the architecture...
With scales in the streets...and a gigantic ice skating circuit!
There's so much to see and do in Vienna, I can't show you everything we did because it'd take me at least 4 weeks worth of posts and that just to get started!
Go up the cathedral, amazing views!
Walk around the University's patio. (I don't have photos so you'll have to trust me on this one ^^)
Follow the river and visit the different palaces around town, the gardens are to die for and perfect for a romantic walk if you're thus inclined ^^
And don't forget to try the famous Sachertorte! But i'll tell you more about that another time ^^
Next week I'll be telling you about two great day trips you can do from Vienna: Linz and Graz. Don't miss it! :)
