Style Mondays: Party Styling Tips

Hello all! Hope you are having plenty of rest and not too much hustle. Sometimes, there is no middle point. What is clear is that sooner or later, most of us will have to end up making use of a pretty dress and accessories, for that reason I want to present you my top choices for this season.

Kling. Pike Dress. Dark Green.
This time of the year usually comes loaded with events, in which we could take advantage and wear gowns. Specially New Year's Eve is a night that if we wish so, we may want to use a pretty dress to go to a family dinner, or to the office party. That is the reason why we all should always be ready and have a dress. Here is a very Christmas-like (even if it's already past) option by Kling, the Spanish brand that always surprises us.

Kling. Madison Dress. Orange.
You'll probably have to go through several commitments during these Holidays, so choosing the perfect dress may be a step forward. Same with the rest of accessories, including shoes, that you’ll  have to specially choose to complement the rest of the outfit. Above all, you should choose something that makes you feel comfortable and safe, but also, the one that makes you feel prettier.

As I mentioned before, it is important to choose the one which you like best, and that makes you feel prettier. Some of the more traditional decorative choices during the Christmas period are sequins and beads, usually in metallic tones. Also paillettes and peplum-cut in dresses are something that will make you the star of any event, and never go out of the fashion.

Every year, we will see how the trends are going to be repeated, Little Black Dress sounds familiar?, a staple in any wardrobe for its elegance and versatility. We must not forget comfort, and choose the shoes which feel best, not the highest and most uncomfortable heels.
Also, oversize items may give us an original touch. Bodies, transparencies, and elegant jewels will go strong this year, when if not during these days? This year, a very feminine and youthful style is trending, and some of these garments can be reused many times, as they are very comfortable while sophisticated, with that chic touch.

Pull&Bear. Sequinned Ethnic Skirt. Black.
Even tho the tendency is to go for dresses, I personally prefer simple designs, with straight and very suggestive cuts, or with a colorful sixties touch and cut. Maxi dresses come this season a little tight and full of asymmetries and openings. We may also find short and suggestive skirts and jumpsuits in collections.

If we think that we have no occasion to show them off, it is not so!! Don’t worry, family visits are required, and frankly a perfect opportunity. So, if we like to look cute and we like dresses, whatever our preferred style of dress is... we must seize this time!! I think it is worth mentioning some Christmas warm colors that you don’t have to miss on your clothing these days: red, dark red, white, black, green, emerald green, teal or any shade of this color, even if it is cold tone, is very Christmas-like and it remembers to snow and Christmas. How about this option?:
